Intrepid Ensemble FACILITATION Ebook is live!

Facilitating with children and young people can be tough – even the most experienced facilitators can feel out of their depth when planning and delivering workshops.

I’ve written this resource to share tried and tested methods, which I’ve learned while working with Intrepid Ensemble and some other fantastic organisations like Rose Bruford Drama School, National Citizen Service and the Old Vic. All eighteen pages will offer practical guidance for artists, educators & facilitators.

Screenshot_Role_waysofworking_The resource provides concrete examples of what to do and what not to do when it comes to facilitating with this demographic. An assortment of learning styles will be covered, examining how to use drama to engage participants with a range of abilities. Example games and workshop plans are also included.

These techniques can enrich a drama process, with two-way dialogue between the facilitator and participant at its core. These methods can be used within a rehearsal room, community venue or classroom – and should enable you to facilitate in a fun and structured way.
